Charles Oscar Harris was a long-time Alabama legislator and community leader during and after Reconstruction. Through genealogical research, his Black and White descendants discovered each other. With Dr. Richard Bailey, they discuss Harris's historical importance, and with Scotty Kirkland they discuss the process of securing a historical marker.
