When you do a harder workout, it’s important to rebuild your body with good nutrition.

  • Eating something with protein and carbs will help replenish and get the rebuilding process going. Carbs are like the gas that helps fuel a car. Protein is like the parts and materials that make up the car.
  • Smoothies are excellent because the body absorbs & digests them so quickly
  • Or you could put a scoop of protein powder and almond milk or water in a shaker bottle, shake it up to drink while also eating a banana.
  • The most important part of tomorrow’s workout is what we do in the first 30 minutes after today’s workout. It’s a magical window for the body to begin the rebuilding process.
