Galatians 1 - Paul, apostle, not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus the King and God the Father who raised Him from the dead, 2 and all the brethren with me: To the churches in Galatia, 3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus the King 4 who gave Himself on behalf of our sins, so that He might deliver us out of the present evil age according to the will of God and our Father. 6 I am vexed that you have so quickly moved from the One who called you into the grace of the King into another message of good news, 7 which is not really another [message of good news], but some are disturbing you and wishing to distort the good news proclamation of Christ [the King]. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven proclaim to you a message beside the message we announced, let him be anathema. 9 Therefore, I foretell to you now and say again: if anyone proclaims a message beside what you received, let him be anathema. 10 For now am I pleasing men or God? If I am still pleasing men, I would not be a slave of Christ [the King]. 11 For I made known to you, brethren, the message announced from me since it is not according to man. 12 For neither did I receive it according to man nor was taught it but [it was from] the revelation of Jesus the King. 13 For you have heard of my former way of life in Judaism, with my violent persecution of the Church and destruction of them, and I was advancing in Judaism beyond many my own age of my race, possessing extreme zeal...
