Dan and Carolyn talk about and then play a handful of Sonic the Hedgehog games from the Sega Genesis era, including the original, Sonic 2, and Sonic and Knuckles. Not Sonic 3, which Dan wasn't cool enough to own as a child. They start off making dumb jokes about the inscrutable plot of the Sonic franchise, and somewhere along the line end up in a discussion about difficulty, game-making philosophy, and the ethics of game design. Rest assured: they are both very fun and cool at parties.
