It's Carolyn's turn to dredge up something that terrified her as a child! She picked Child's Play, the haunted-doll film from 1988 which gave her nightmares (sometime in 1995-96). Turns out, it's deals lightly in misogyny, racism, and new to the podcast, negative portrayals of mental health treatment. But the effects are good, I guess.

In this episode, Dan goes on three separate rants, and totally flubs when prefrontal lobotomies fell out of fashion in America (the mid-'50s). Carolyn confronts the stuff of her nightmares and finds it, predictably, not as scary as when she was seven.
