In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, I had a great conversation about diversity and opportunities in the aerospace industry from three very seasoned and knowledgeable aerospace professionals of Latino heritage.
Dr. Miguel Roman, Program Director at the Earth from Space Institute (EfSI), Universities Space Research Association; Dr. Pablo de Leon, Professor & Chair, Department of Space Studies, and Director of the UND Human Spaceflight Laboratory at the University of North Dakota; and Eric Aguilar, Senior Engineering Manager, Mars Sample Return Mission, Perseverance Mars Rover, Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
All Things Aviation & Aerospace is an aviation career-oriented webcast hosted by Vince Mickens, a long time private pilot who flies frequently for personal and business. His background includes executive roles with the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), and the Bob Hoover Legacy Foundation, all after a 28-year broadcast journalism career in seven major television and radio broadcast markets nationwide.
