Hey, shug! Today we’re making a scrumptious Crusty Tater Casserole! For those of you new to the casserole, it is comprised of a variety of ingredients that accumulate into an amalgam of flavor up into a 9 x 13 dish. You can take them along to a picnic, wedding, bereavement, or any other social occasion that requires nibbles. Just make sure you place your name in a prominent area on the bottom of your dish. Some people in this town think they can harbor your casserole-wear just because you brought it to their home. I’m keeping a list of missing articles.
I would also like to take this opportunity to personally thank my good friend, Eloise Polk for allowing us to film in her pristine kitchen. You see, recently I had a little run-in with the health department, which forced me to temporarily relocate my show. And Eloise, out of the generosity of her heart, graciously opened her home to us. She’d like me to thank all you who prayed for her about that bad color and perm she had down at Shay’s Beauty Palace. She says her hair is growing back in ok, but it’s still in stubs at the moment. As soon as she has enough to cover her crown back up, she should be able to resume her duties as the Outreach Sunday School Director over at First Baptist.
Ya’ll stir up a casserole and enjoy!
Cheers!
