This year marks the 26th anniversary of the Hula Oni E Hula Festival at the Hilton Hawaiian. This hula unique festival was created by Uncle Larry De Rego and late wife, Kumu Hula Hōkūlani De Rego with the hopes of perpetuating the cultural art of hula with Keiki, adults and even kūpuna (grandparents). Listen to Uncle Larry’s story of not just this great hula event, but the art of hula and its perpetuating in to the future.
