Eric Dexter is the Director of Business Development at Civil Solutions Consulting Group, a Louisiana-based civil engineering consulting firm that assists government agencies, developers and architecture firms with the planning, design and management of municipal transportation infrastructure, residential and commercial development and disaster recovery programs.

He serves as a Downtown Development District Commissioner and as one of the inaugural members of the newly created LABI Emerging Leaders Council. He's also on the boards for Apex Collegiate Academy, Baton Rouge Area Foundation, Baton Rouge Blues Foundation, Capital Area United Way, Forum 35, Louisiana Art & Science Museum, Manship Theatre, and the Urban Congress.
