Please join us on Friday, November 17 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm for a timely conversation with Minister of Defense Raul Jungmann of Brazil. The United States and Brazil have traditionally enjoyed a close political and economic relationship; the bilateral defense relationship also has seen significant positive movement in recent years. Since the bilateral Defense Cooperation Agreement entered into force in June 2015, the U.S. and Brazil have strengthened their cooperation on various defense issues, including defense technologies, products, capabilities, and research and development. Minister Jungmann will present Brazil’s defense strategy and discuss regional and global defense challenges, as well as the current bilateral defense relationship between the U.S. and Brazil.
The presentation will be in Portuguese and English translation will be provided.
