The National Road Carriers Association predicts the New Zealand trucking industry will need about 28,000 drivers over the next decade to meet growth in demand from the freight industry.
Newstalk ZB has a large audience of truck drivers who listen on the roads, and many of them rang The Andrew Dickens Afternoon Show with their stories.
