Rape culture in a nutshell – University of Minnesota football players staged their own work stoppage.

The Golden Gophers said they were boycotting football activities leading up to the Holiday Bowl on December until they get better answers from the school about the suspensions of 10 teammates, who were punished following an internal investigation into a sexual assault case.

Two days later, the boycott ended. Why? Because of the release of an 80-page university report detailing the investigation that led to the player suspensions. The report includes a graphic description of an alleged sexual assault involving a female student and multiple football players, as well as one underage football recruit. According to the report, there are multiple videos of the sexual activity.

Why was it their first instinct to defend the football players? Want to stage a protest Why not do it in support of the alleged victims of the sexual assaults. Who is standing up for the alleged victims?
