This week Sam and Ally discuss the recent Mythic Dungeon Invitational and a few MDI-related bits from the most recent Developer Q&A with Ion Hazzikostas. The gals discuss the potential future of Mythic Plus as an esport, crossing some fingers we’ll see the finals at BlizzCon 2018. The growth of the event itself from a production level evolution from week 1 to the Finals, Blizzard answered viewer requests for more detailed information on the players and stats for each run. How seeing cutting edge competition ripples out to the general population and most importantly some insight from Ion with regard to potential class balance and toolkits used for 5man dungeons that you may not see play out in a raiding environment. Could we see a return of class utility in 8.0?
