Summary:

I’m so excited to share with you the newest feature of Landlordology; Ask Lucas! In this inaugural episode, I talk about its purpose to provide a bite-sized question and answer forum for landlords, tenants, and property managers. I’m happy to share what I’ve learned as a profitable landlord. Let’s do this together!

Full Transcript:

Hey everyone. This is Lucas Hall for Landlordology.com. I am so excited to be here with you today. This is the first episode of Ask Lucas, a bite-sized Q and A show where I answer your questions about landlording, real estate investing, property management and really anything else having to do with rental properties.

I believe that landlording can be totally fun and really profitable and I want to teach you how to do it. Not only will rental properties give you satisfaction and a passive rental income in the short term but they will produce a tremendous amount of equity for you over the long hall. When you go to retire, you may have more of a nest egg in your rental properties then you ever would in a 401K depending on how much you deposit, I suppose.

I’m here for you and in each episode what I’m going to do is I’m going to feature a brand new voice mail question from someone just like you who’s calling in and wanting to know about a situation that they’re in and what the best response is or how to grow their portfolio or how to respond to a tenant. I’m happy to give my non-legal advice, as I’m not a lawyer. I’m just a very experienced landlord who enjoys contributing to the community that I belong in.

Hit me up, ask your questions, I’m excited to do this with you. In future episodes I hope we learn a lot together. With that said, Landlordology is actually brought to you by Cozy, which provides end to end property management, software for landlords. I’m not just saying that, I’m eating my own dog food. I use Cozy to management my properties and it’s awesome.

Through Cozy I can collect rental applications, screen the tenants, order credit reports and even collect my rent on line and have it automatically deposited. It’s really just a fantastic way for independent landlord and small asset property manager to streamline their life and their rental business. Check it out at Cozy.co.
