Atheists Talk cable program by Minnesota Atheists. "Philosophy 101" recorded 5/7/2015 George Kane interviewed Jordan Peacock, a student at the European Graduate School, Media and Communication Division, and co-founder of the software startup Becoming Machinic. The title of the program was Philosophy 101. Issues covered included how one’s perspective changes when a person moves from a believer to an atheist, specifically on ethics and epistemology (how we know what we know) how ethical ideas have changed over time; and finally just because atheists agree on the god conclusion does not mean they agree on philosophy. They considered utilitarianism (and other forms of consequentialism) versus rationalism. Minnesota Atheists practices positive, inclusive, active, friendly neighborhood atheism in order to: - Provide a community for atheists - Educate the public about atheism - Promote separation of state and church http://www.mnatheists.org/
