Jonita D'Souza was born in India, and is currently living in London, England. Jonita is a Feminine Lifestylist, an Author and Creatress of Exploring Femininity Ltd., assisting modern day busy women who struggle with burn-out, overwhelm and body love to reconnect with their feminine and sensual energy using the ancient Taoist and Tantric arts, so that they can create a lifestyle that is fulfilling, nurturing and pleasurable. Jonita is also a certified life coach, NLP practitioner, Master Hypnotherapist and combines the teachings of feminine mysticism and shamanism in her work, facilitating monthly moon circles, online workshops and sacred feminine retreats. Jonita believes that it is the responsibility of the 21st century women to explore their femininity and activate their Shakti, so that they can create a sustainable life for themselves, for their loved ones and for generations to come. In this episode Jonita shared how her strict Catholic upbringing started her journey toward finding more of her true expression. When she landed in the west she was surprised to find that though the women were free, they were living in "an invisible cage." She says it wasn't always easy to carry the sacred torch for the feminine awakening, and shared some of her personal journey, which led her on a pilgrimage to Glastonbury where she dove into the sacred feminine darkness, the divine feminine re-emergence and the Magdalene. As Jonita shared that on this journey, she found there was something "stonger than magic, it's sisterhood." Jonita invites everyone she works with to find more passion and fulfillment in their everyday lives, using femininity and sensuality.
