Sally Satel is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) and a practicing psychiatrist and lecturer at the Yale University School of Medicine, whose work examines mental health policy as well as political trends in medicine. Her research touches on issues of critical importance, including public, addiction, and the opioid crisis in America.

Sally joins the show to talk with Robert and Phoebe about deaths of despair and the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on public and mental health.
