Coach Caliendo continues to travel the world for the best coaches development programs and on this episodes talks to one of the best programs in the world, Baseball Australia. A small populated country with only fifty thousand baseball players is respected around the world for the type of players they produce at the
highest levels of MLB, College and National Teams. Per capita, they have more players in MLB then large baseball powerhouses like USA, Cuba, Japan, Dominican Republic Australia and others. Learn how they have developed the sport by concentrating on the development of coaches at the grassroots level. By focusing on this area and helping their coaches who many are volunteers they have been able to produce some very
good national team players. They keep being innovators and constantly reviewing
their programs to help grow the game.

Our guest Former Australian National Team player and coach, member of the
team that won the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece,
and former Major League player with the Minnesota Twins Glenn Williams who
signed for a lucrative contract at the age of 16 years. Currently, Glenn is the
General Manager of Team Australia overseeing National teams competing in
International World Cup events as well as programs developing and preparing
athletes for these events. He was the National Hitting Coordinator and the
National team senior hitting coach. Currently a professional scout with the Detroit

Tigers. Also serves on the WBSC Tournament Committee alongside your host
Peter Caliendo.
He has been the Manager of High-Performance Coordinating and running player
development programs for baseball players. .
He comes from a history of baseball development since His father Gary Williams
has been heavily involved in the development of baseball in Australia.
