Covered in the podcast

· Darin’s responsibilities as the Hitting Coordinator for the Colorado Rockies.

· Darin has worked with many young kids, high school, college, and professional players, how do you separate what he teaches, if any?

· Developing coaches is critical and being on the same page so important, how do you assure that certain things are being worked on by your staff?

· Once he signs with the Rockies what determines if coaches will make adjustments with hitters and when.

· Are the drills throughout your system the same for all hitters, if not then why? and what would be an example of a couple different drills for a couple different hitters?

· A big question lots of people like to know, with the shifts, can MLB hitters make an adjustment and hit the other way of the shift? If not, why not?

· We have a lot of coaches on the podcast who work with young kids, the biggest question I get, I was amazed, even in Cuba just this week, explain launch angle and how it can benefit all hitters at all levels.

· How much do you teach, study with your hitter's counts, pitching patterns, look location, etc.

· What do you believe is the difference between offseason work, pre-season and during the season.

· It’s a long season, all players go through slumps, is there anything players can do to reduce slumps?

· The importance to say less and do more, let players figure it out.

· Game like hitting drills very important, what kind are productive?

· Batting practice, traditional or is there a much better way?

· Does strength have an effect on slumps and what to do and when to reduces these chances?
