This khutbah was given at Islamic Center of Irving on 7/6/2016.

The occasion of Eid ul Fitr is a time to reflect on what Allah wants from us, says Nouman Ali Khan. By observing the 30-day fast in Ramadan we have proven to ourselves that we are capable of self-restraint, gratitude and the declaration that Allah is greater than everything else in our lives. The goal of islam is to remove our burden and once we develop this consciousness and gratitude for Allah’s bounty, He will increase his gifts beyond our imagination.
