Business owner or not, your social media can have a lasting effect on other people’s perception of you. This may not be something you ultimately care about, but if you do run a business, who you show up as in your online presence certainly can impact your livelihood. Although social media shows people what you want them to see, if you are not being yourself, you will be found out and it will affect your business transactions. If you understand how the game works, you get to make whatever decision you want regarding your social media presence, but today’s episode is all about how to make that informed decision and how to be yourself online. You’ll learn how to use social media without using other people, how to build relationships without using them in icky ways to move forward, and learn what it looks like to show up as the real you behind the profile picture.
