Carrie shares her story of surviving and overcoming a deep addiction to prescription drugs. While her story is one of great loss it is also one of incredible strength and resilience. Carrie exemplifies turning weaknesses into strengths, accepting that we aren’t meant to be perfect, and that through our flaws we can connect and heal together. As a survivor of the opioid epidemic she aims to help others gain hope, healing and understanding for themselves, friends and loved ones.
