December's featured dancer is Rosie Montgomery-Webb. Rose is 18 years old and a second-year trainee at BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio. She was adopted at 9 months from South Korea to live in Anchorage, Alaska. Rose lived in Anchorage until she was 16. Growing up, she trained concurrently in dance and horseback riding. At age 14, she decided to focus strictly on dance which allowed her to attend various intensives like BalletMet, Joffrey Chicago, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Sarasota Ballet, Alaska Dance Theatre, and American Dance Festival. She is looking forward to continuing her current training and preparing for auditions in early 2017.

Becoming Ballet is produced by Kimberly Falker, founder and CEO of Premier Dance Network and the host of Balancing Pointe Podcast.
