Steve is a great hockey mind with a solid playing background having played Junior hockey for St Mary’s, Strathroy, and London, CIS hockey for Western University, as well as professional hockey in North America and Europe. He is an entrepreneur who’s working on building his business in the growing world of social media and sports. Steve also coached for many years, working with players moving on to the OHL and Junior hockey, and he also spent time coaching at Western University.

In this episode, he offers some valuable advice to parents and players working through minor hockey, managing expectations, characteristics of elite hockey players and much more. We touch on a variety of topics including coaching, playing, and players creating their own brand through social media. This was an interesting episode with some entertaining stories, invaluable advice and an in depth look at life away from the rink in building your online presence and life after hockey.
