The filmmaking duo behind "Barbecue," a beautiful worldwide look at BBQ cultures, sit down with Yoni and Stover in this episode to talk about how their documentary has been received around the world after debuting on Netflix.

You first heard Australian filmmakers Matthew Salleh and Rose Tucker on the Best BBQ Show in 2017 when their Barbecue movie was premiering on Netflix. They love food as much as they love filmmaking.

Since their first time on the Best BBQ Show podcast, the Australian director and producer have traveled all around to watch their movie with audiences and relive their joyful experiences over and over. Now they talk in this conversation about what will come next. They're now living in New York and working on even bigger things.

In the second half of this episode, recorded from the National Barbecue and Grilling Association's annual conference and cooking academy, the Meat Men sit down with fellow Austin resident, and champion barbecue pitmaster, Jay Tinney.

Jay's Tinney Barbeque/Twisted X Brewing BBQ Team won the Grand Champion award at the 2018 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Bar-B-Que and he's a real, down-to-earth Meatman, despite his killer new champion belt. His advice is to get out there and roll some coal and experiment with different BBQ techniques and flavors. His passion for BBQ and grilling has no bounds.
