Sometimes we need a break from our greatest stressors in life. And for many of us, chronic illness is an ever-present and constant stressor. We love being involved in the chronic illness community and raising awareness, but it can be exhausting and draining, too.
In today’s episode, we discuss the idea of taking a step back from the chronic illness community. We have to live with our health issues daily, but seeing everyone else post about illness can be extra draining and cause us to constantly be pulled into it rather than moving forward in healing. We dive deep into why taking breaks is important, how we do that and set boundaries around our health, plus share how we can all support each other a little better within the community.
