The Balaton paper will publish two more articles on veterans, one by me on Jerry Slinker, another Balaton native who served in the USAF, and an article on Gary Kass’ military service written by Nancy Iverson of the Balaton Press Tribune.
Truth is, it’s been a BALL!! Interviewing and writing about the lives and service of my fellow veterans has been an HONOR. Too, I want to thank all the veterans and their families, as well as many people in the area who have supported me. Not the least, I want to thank all of you for your kindness and support. I have been humbled and privileged to write about veterans and the many things that they have done to serve our country. Thank You!!
