Darryl Bishop was between droving jobs when he was drawn from the Tenth National Service Ballot to head to Vietnam. He was only nineteen, it was 1969, Darryl was just a young man from the bush.
Join me while I catch up with Darryl and have a yarn about his younger days and some experiences in Australia's involvement in that most unpopular war.
Please support Darryl and grab his book and be sure to let him know you have read it. Share this podcast and his book. I am sure I wouldn't be the only one who wants to hear some more from Darryl Bishop.
Available online now at Booktopia and Amazon
Or available in all good Bookshops, just ask for it.
Please, if you need help or want to support these great organisations, reach out.
