Women of Impact Series #4

Denise Pirrotti Hummel, Founder & CEO, Lead Inclusively Inc. joins Bob to discuss how she likes to work at the intersection of capitalism, inclusion, and business impact. She is the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Lead Inclusively, Inc., a firm that helps Enterprise clients to use inclusive leadership as an accelerator for innovation and business performance. She is a member Marshall Goldsmith's Legacy Team of 100 Coaches (chosen from over 16,000 applicants), a member of the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Women's Association (HBA), the Co-Chair of the Life Sciences Committee of Athena and the Co-Chair of Education for the National Diversity Council. In addition to assessments, workshops and experiences that connect inclusion with business performance, Denise's coaching life focuses on the CEO's of acquired companies as they integrate, male and female leaders who wish to incorporate a more inclusive leadership style, and female leaders moving to senior leadership.
Denise sold her most recent business, culture firm, Universal Consensus, LLC, to Ernst & Young, where she became a Principal in their Human Capital division. Prior to that she practiced employment law and international M&A as an attorney. Denise has lead some of the most significant people integrations of the life sciences and tech world and also focuses on the challenges faced by pharma and biotech as they enter a phase of fierce competition and crowded markets. She is a staunch advocate of women and historically disenfranchised persons.
She has led Ernst & Young’s Talent, Diversity, Innovation and Culture Transformation offerings; led Aon-Hewitt’s cross-cultural M&A integration; built Deloitte’s cross-cultural assessment and training program for Global Mobility. She developed a breakthrough trademarked methodology, the Business Model of Intercultural Analysis (BMIA™), related to global expansion and optimization; and litigating (and winning) the first class action under the Americans With Disabilities Act.
