The time of Corona is the time of virologists, a species that’s more prominent than ever. Today we focus on medical aspects in our Bits & Pretzels podcast. How can medical and data based knowledge help ban the corona pandemic?

Our guest in this episode is Ijad Madisch, founder of ResearchGate, which allows its 16 million members to exchange medical research date. He is also a medical doctor, a virologist and his idea convinced Bill Gates and Peter Thiel to invest in his company. And as if that wasn't enough, Ijad is aiming to win the Nobel prize and is part of the German government's elite Digital Council.
