Black Woman Vibes podcast is back with a new episode for season three which is “PARENTALIZED & 8 STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT (PART 2)”. We are continuing the kick off of season 3 with a BANG! In this episode we are discussing the term "Parentalized" and combining the 8 stages of development that was coined and defined by Erik Erikson, the 20th Century psychologist. Many Black People have experienced some form of "parentalized" that has left them unable to prioritize themselves and express their emotional burdens; compiled with the lack of successfully completing their 8 stages of development, these open wounds have ultimately left many Black adults feeling unfulfilled and worthless. In part 2, episode 9 we are wrapping up and concluding this topic with options of healthy methods for healing from this childhood trauma. Hit play to find out!
