God is wise. We get it...but what exactly does it mean? And how does it impact us? Does it mean that he is smart? Does it mean that he knows the answers to lots of questions? Well of course - it's more than that! Charles Ryrie describes the wisdom of God this way: "It is the attribute of God by which he brings about the best possible ends, by the best possible means, for the most possible people, for the longest possible time." Think about that. We have already established that God is sovereign and powerful enough to do what he will. And the wisdom of God means that he will do what it takes to bring about the best possible good. If I really believed that - I would be able to trust him in even the hardest circumstances.
