Neonates are a breadth of … well… actually breathing is one of the big issues they have. Adding a squirt of finely curated surfactant we know can help them out, and LISA (less invasive surfactant administration) is probably the best at the job. But it’s pretty stressful having things splashed into your lungs, so should we be giving premedication?
