The Staten Island Little League World Series coach, Bob Laterza (who was just eliminated), said Aaron Judge didn’t acknowledge his team enough when the Yankees played the Tigers at the Little League Classic. The Yankees put out a statement explaining how much the players interacted with the little leaguers. This coach didn’t even know who David Cone was. We somehow got into Eddie’s catholic school years. He went all the way through high school. We then talked about how good Brandon Tierney looked yesterday at the Yankees game. Boomer thinks Paul O’Neill is better looking. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Cleveland beating the Yankees in 12 innings. It was the longest game of the season, clocking in at 4 hours and 5 minutes. Both the Mets and Yankees had problems in the field last night. Aaron Rodgers talked about training camp and how some of the veterans love it. We heard from a few Giants players who stopped by Evan and Tiki yesterday at camp. Brian Flores responded to Tua calling him a ‘terrible person’. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the Mets kid-caster and how he took Boomer’s advice and wore a suit.
