Life often takes us through twists and turns, it can even guide us to new opportunities we might not have imagined were meant for us. I mean, just take our guest, Tricia Scott, for example!

Not only was she courageous in pursuing her career paths, but she also built an impressive skill set spanning multiple industries. So, while she’s originally from the real estate sector, her transition into publishing and media demonstrates how having a wealth of life experiences can come together to create exciting new ventures.

About Our Guest: Tricia Scott

Tricia Scott got her start in business through property investment and sales. Leveraging her transactional skills, she rose through the ranks to manage multiple sales offices. The exposure to different markets ignited her interest in entrepreneurship.

Seeking more flexibility and control, she then ventured out on her own in publishing. Tricia founded The Female CEO, a magazine focused on empowering women entrepreneurs. Using funding from real estate deals, she self-published the first issue and continued growing the brand from there.

Tricia Scott connects with notable founders to share impactful stories and insights, and over the past decade, she has designed, edited, and produced over 40 entrepreneurial magazines under The Female CEO brand. Talk about a storytelling powerhouse!

But it doesn’t even stop there, my friends! She also runs an online academy training women in business and holds in-person conferences and retreats. Her expanding media company allows her to pursue creative outlets and help others start their own journeys.

So tune in to discover how Tricia's path transitioned from the real estate industry into publishing. It's an amazing opportunity to learn more about how nonlinear careers, paired with grit and vision, can turn a special interest into an expansive opportunity that inspires other women to pursue their biggest and wildest business dreams.
