In 1987 prolific radio writer and director Jack Johnstone was a guest of SPERDVAC for a talk about his radio career. During the course of the conversation, Johnstone was asked about his days directing the Adventures of Superman on radio. Early in the program's run, the show was pre-recorded and syndicated to sell to individual radio stations. In this clip, Johnstone tells a funny story about a sound effects flub that happened one evening when trying to cram the last recording session in before the crew's allotted time at the radio station ran out.
