The play was adapted for Forecast by Helen Deutsch. The radio play starred Howard Da Silva as Mr. Keizer, Margaret Sullavan as Bethel, and a debuting 17-year old Byron Kane as Charlie Hatch. Thanks, in part, to his work on Forecast, Norman Corwin’s stock quickly rose through CBS. 1941 was one of the most important years in the history of the United States of America.
