Hello everyone and welcome back to Broad-WHAT? podcast. As many of you know, we are going forward with our episodes of Broad-WHAT? With a special twist. Before every episode we will be showcasing companies and charities that support BLM, BIPOC and voices that need to be amplified. In this episode, I was introduced to the Vancouver Black Therapy & Advocacy Fund. VBT&AF is a not-for-profit initiative that aims to raise funds to make mental health support more accessible to Black community members in the Lower Mainland. This fundraiser was created with the understanding of the disparity of access for Black mental health resources. Not only is she an incredible artist and performer but she also is a GEM. She has an incredible insight in what she wants to achieve in life. I think a lot of that has to do with her love of learning, and her search for answers in life. When she said yes to being on the show I was absolutely thrilled. I’ve seen her in action and let me tell you - she is absolutely amazing. She commands the room and I can learn a lot from her.
