Maria is an adjunct faculty at American University and the author of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Trainers: Fostering DEI in the Workplace (ATD Press, 2022). Maria lives with her husband and two future “peace teachers,” who regularly coach her on how to navigate conflict and manage her amygdala.
