This episode covers the journey of Dr. Veronica De La Rosa as she struggled with being a new immigrant to Canada after leaving a successful career as a Professor of Law in Mexico City.

Dr. De La Rosa (or “Dr. Vee”) shared her experiences around how finding mentors helped her to “open doors” when so many were closed after many attempts. Combined with her work experiences at the University of Calgary and SAIT and guidance from her mentor, Bruce Randall, from the Calgary Region Immigration Employment Council, Dr. Vee now finds herself mentoring and coaching others to help them break the “Internal Glass Ceiling”
