In today's episode, we will be discussing the Importance of Women's Health and Well-Being in the Workplace and a very crucial, yet overlooked topic - menopause. Menopause tends to affect women at the peak of their careers. Its symptoms like hot flashes, brain fog, and migraines cause women to silently suffer this "workplace taboo" causing many women to leave the workforce altogether. Our Women in Digital host Christine Stack, Head of HR for Capgemini CIS Americas, sits down with three women to share their personal experiences and offer support, information, and resources to other women: - Jill Angelo who is the CEO and Founder of Gennev, the nation's largest virtual menopause clinic and was named one of Inc.'s 2021 Top Female Founders - Jill Weber who leads Capgemini's Global Partnership Relationship with ServiceNow - Carla Heimbigner who is a Global Partner Leader at ServiceNow and 100% dedicated to Capgemini We hope that this discussion normalizes menopause in the workplace, encourages allies and employers to understand and support those with menopausal symptoms, and empowers women to take control of their health and well-being. The Women in Digital Podcast is led by the Women@Capgemini Employee Resource Group, whose mission is to cultivate and sustain a culture where women can thrive at Capgemini. We provide growth through leadership, excellence, action, and development by empowering women and men to work together to bridge the gender gap.
