You have a degree, recently graduated and you're struggling to find a job. I hear you!

A lot of companies want someone with experience even for the entry level jobs.

Tips:

  1. Ensure you're looking for entry level jobs
  2. Don't NOT apply for roles because they want 1 year of experience
  3. List your education towards the top of your resume with graduation year
  4. Must include all working experience
  5. Always include internships
  6. Create a 'school projects' section on your resume
  7. Sharpen your interview skills
  8. Be open to taking an unideal role if it can lead to a role you want in 1-2 years
  9. Work study programs included on your resume
  10. Try gaining experience through 'gigs'
  11. Work a sucky job if you have bills to pay until you land the job that will start your career
  12. Network
  13. Reach out to potential H.M.'s and ask them for their advice
  14. Get support system for recent college grads
