Round and Round

Still spinning on my Subterranean Woodworks turkish spindle – Batt from Kristen at Tangled up in wool — 2 oz Merino, Seacell, Tussah silk — I call it a beach glass batt — sand colored with blips of sea glass colors popping in occasionally. Worked a little on this, but still not done with first ounce.

Bags by Awesome Granny

Hi, my name is Darlene…..I have always wanted to learn to knit, but I never made the time. I am an avid quilter, motorcycle rider, wife, mother and grannie…..I work with a lady that would knit at her desk everyday during lunch. One day in late 2011, I walked into her cubicle and asked her to teach me how to knit…. I have been addicted ever since and that lady is now one of my best friends. Her name is Carrie Ramirez . I have 5 grandchildren…..2 boys, and 3 girls, Trenton, Kagan, Brinley, Peyton and Hunter.

To enter, go to the group thread on Ravelry after you have checked out her site and let us know what types of bags you might like to see in her shop and/or what fabrics you might like to see her carry. We will close the thread and chose a winner on March 8th and will announce the winner on the next podcast the week of the 9th.
