You all listened to the podcast, you know the story… Sometime in 1999 I read a review of a movie called Barn of the Blood Llama on badmovies.org. This began a nearly two-decade long hunt/obsession with this film. This was my holy grail. Many years and one fifteen-dollar money order later and I finally had it in my hands. I called Nathan, my partner in all things schlock, “It’s here” I told him with reverence. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. This movie is incredibly important to me, it gave birth to this podcast, and it represents my love and passion for all things cheesy and trashy. I love this film.
Two weeks ago we got a message from none other than Gibby himself. He had stumbled across the podcast and he loved it! I was absolutely giddy over Gibby. We exchanged messages for several days and he enthusiastically agreed to sit down with us for an interview. We had no idea what we were in for. So here it is, Caught Dead Watching interviews Kirk Hunter, the co-writer, co-producer, special effects, camera man, and star of Barn of the Blood Llama. If you thought the movie was something, wait until you hear some of the stories behind it. Huge thanks to Kirk for your time, this was such a cool experience for us.
