A senator from Newfoundland and Labrador is continuing his work to try to improve how Canada deals with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, or FASD. Senator Mohamed Ravalia of Twillingate is a retired physician. His bill, S-253, is a proposed piece of legislation that would bring in a national framework for fetal alcohol spectrum disorder.
