The CDH Counseling Team:
Mrs. Connie Reding - team manager and the face of the department. Mrs. Reding is the first person you will see when you walk into the office. She will assist you with anything you need.
Mike Brewer (A-Gan) - Mr. Brewer is in his 22nd year serving as a school counselor at CDH. He is placed at CDH through the SPPS Non-Public program. He also coaches football.
Jane Young (Gar-Lee) - Mrs. Young is in her second year at CDH. Serving as a SPPS Non-Public school counselor, she has been in education for sixteen years. Mrs. Young is a .8 contract...out of the office on Wednesdays.
Katie Shead (LeM-Sam) - Mrs. Shead has been at CDH for three years and serving as a school counselor for five years. She has a background in mental health and education.
Emily Kurmis (San-Z) - Ms. Kurmis is the newest addition to the CDH team coming on board this year. She is also a Non-Public SPPS school counselor. She has served as a classroom teacher in World Language and has recently completed her Master's training in School Counseling. Ms. Kurmis is a .8 placement and is out of the office on Mondays.
Joan O'Connell (A-L) College Counselor - Mrs. O'Connell has been at CDH for 22 years heading the college counseling services. She worked in admissions at St. Kate's before her move to CDH.
Leslie Connelly (M-Z) College Counselor - Mrs Connelly has worked with college admissions at CDH for the past 10 years. Working hand in hand with Mrs. O'Connell, Mrs, Connelly is the other half of the the College Counseling team. They are a tremendous asset to our CDH community.
Katie Carroll - Registrar - Mrs. Carroll manages all of the CDH official records and oversees all of the scheduling for our student body and faculty. She works with Infinite Campus to schedule and adjust courses and update transcripts.
Gayle Knopik - Chemical Health - Mrs. Knopik serves CDH as a contracted Chemical Health specialist. She works in education and prevention for our community. She also serves in a responsive role to any Chemical issue or concern. She is in the office on Tuesdays 11:30am-3pm and Fridays 7:30am-11:30am
