THE FLESH: YOUR SIN NATURE When the Bible uses the word FLESH in regard to humanity, it isn’t describing your skin. It's the corruptible condition of your CARNAL NATURE. Your INNATE CARNALITY reveals the part of you that’s MORALLY INADEQUATE. You’re prone, sometimes even driven, to REBEL against God’s commands when you respond to your fleshly desires. Man's perspective, understanding and responses are HOSTILE to God's will and plan for our lives. Your SIN NATURE is another of the INVISIBLE factors in the unseen world. It’s not some place in your brain to which you can point and say, “There’s my sin nature!” But both the Bible AND human experience make clear that there IS a propensity within us that draws us to sin.
