“Things that cause sin will inevitably occur, but woe to the person through whom they occur. t would be better for him if a millstone were put around his neck and he be thrown into the sea than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. Back to School Blessing: Lord Jesus, I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over our students and teachers as they enter a new school year. Keep evil far from them, and help them to trust You as their refuge and strength. I pray You will guard their minds from harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize truth. I pray You will make them strong and courageous in times of persecution, recognizing that You have overcome and are fighting for them. Help them to find rest in Your shadow, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them. Let them know that the only safe place is in Jesus. Through our Blessed Mother Mary, who protects us in her mantle, through St. Joseph, the Terror of Demons, and through St. George the Dragon Slayer, and in Jesus’ Mighty Name! Amen.
