pexels-photo-235621 When we think about the holidays, many of us think about family gatherings, festivities, beautiful decorations and treasured traditions. But unfortunately, for many, this time of the year is a very difficult, stressful, and depressing time. The holiday blues can be triggered by countless things. Some will experience seasonal affective disorder (SAD), some will feel nostalgic or regretful, some will be lonely or homesick, and some will have worries caused by different issues such as family obligations or financial hardships. Going through difficult times is hard enough, but feeling down during this time of the year and seeing everyone else rejoicing and being festive can be really tough. In this episode, I will share some practices that will improve anyone’s way of life but that will also help overcome the holiday blues.
