Today’s guest on Chasing Poker Greatness is a WSOP bracelet winner, top shelf poker coach, and author of “Short Stack Ninja” Chris “Fox” Wallace.
Chris Wallace has been in the game of poker for decades with the pinnacle of his journey thus far going down on June 8th 2014. That was his day of post-Black Friday redemption when he won a WSOP bracelet that was very near and dear to his heart.
As a man who prides himself on playing at a high level in all poker formats, Chris’s victory came in the 2014 $10k HORSE event. In his own words, “If I could have chosen one MTT to win, that’s the event I would have chosen. Other than the Main Event, of course.”
Chris’s journey through the world of cards is an amazing one, filled with glorious peaks as well as the soul crushing valleys you’ve come to expect from folks living the poker dream.
In today’s episode you’re going to learn:
- How a rare wood allergy changed the trajectory of Chris’s life overnight.
- Chris's trials and tribulations battling through Black Friday.
- Poker coaching lessons both Chris and I have learned over the years.
- And much much more!
Before you dive headfirst into this episode with the Fox himself, I wanna tell you why you should think about investing into CPG courses…
If you’ve tried other paid training platforms and instantly felt overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the content, unsure of where to start or what to prioritize in your limited available time to improve your poker game then I believe you’ll be very pleased with the structure of CPG courses.
Each course is designed to teach you elite, data driven exploitative strategies for one specific high value scenario at a time so that when those spots come up you’ll know the exact action to take to maximize your EV.
If you’d like to see the entire CPG courses catalogue, head to ChasingPokerGreatness.com/courses.
And now, without further ado, I bring to you world-class mixed-game player and coach, WSOP bracelet winner Chris “Fox” Wallace.
